Dr. Richard Buchanan was born and raised in Barnesville, Georgia. He is a graduate of Palmer University in Iowa. He uses a "whole person approach" when taking care of his patients. Dr. Buchanan is skilled in the Diversified Technique, the Cox Technique, the SOT Technique, the Activator Technique, the Gonstead Technique and ProAdjuster Technique. He is also certified in the Graston technique and Vax-D. Dr.Buchanan customizes his adjustments according to the patient's needs and comfort levels.
In the Henry County Community, he has been involved in various community activities and is a member of the McDonough Presbyterian Church. He has his wife Pam currently live in Stockbridge, Georgia.
